Join Team 129 for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Oct. 17 (Revised)
WHAT: Team 129 for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk
WHEN: 7:30 A.M. Sunday, October 17, 2010
WHERE: Chicago Premium Outlet Mall (on Farnsworth, just north of I-88)
WHY: Several Reasons
· Fun
· Team 129 raised over $10,000 last year – let’s break this record
· Hanging out with friends
· Early morning exercise
· Getting a head-start on holiday shopping (discount coupons given to all participants)
· Home in time for 12:00 kick-off of the Bears vs Seahawks
HOW: Time to Join the Team: All you need to do is go to www.cancer.org/stridesonline - click on “Illinois and find the “Fox Valley” event, then click on “Team 129” in the right-hand column. Sign up now and contact family and friends and have them join our team and/or donate on-line or to you personally.
NEW THIS YEAR: Rather than T-shirts, we’re going to offer custom neck scarves for sale/fundraising purposes. The cost will be $10. They are practical, warm, one-size fits all, great gifts, and can be worn for years to come. Information will be coming to your building within a week on how to order these scarves. Of course, they’ll be the Red & Blue ones w/West Aurora Team 129.

How to Request Public Records
How to File a Freedom of Information Act
Request with the School District 129
The following are instructions on how to file a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with School District 129:
- Please make your request for records in writing. Here is a form:foia request form.pdf. School District 129 does not require the completion of a standard form for this purpose. You may submit your written request by mail, fax or e-mail. Please direct your request to:

- Please be as specific as possible when describing the records you are seeking. Remember, the Freedom of Information Act is designed to allow you to inspect or receive copies of records. It is not designed to require a public body to answer questions. To the extent that you wish to ask questions of a representative of School District 129, you may call our main number, 630-301-5000.
- Please tell us whether you would like copies of the requested records, or whether you wish to examine the records in person. You have the right to either option.
- There is no fee for up to 50 pages of standard paper copies. For pages beyond 50, there is a .15-cent-per-page charge for black-and-white copies. Color copies are at district cost.
- You are permitted to ask for a waiver of copying fees. To do so, please include the following statement (or a similar statement) in your written FOIA request: “I request a waiver of all fees associated with this request.” In addition, you must include a specific explanation as to why your request for information is in the public interest—not simply your personal interest—and merits a fee waiver.
- Please include your name, preferred telephone number(s), mailing address, and, if you wish, your electronic mail address.
