Fundraising Checklist
Note: The links away from our school site are NOT monitored by the school district and the material presented should be monitored by a responsible adult. School District 129 is not responsible for these sites and their content. Please monitor your child’s computer use and time.

Membership. Have you turned in your PTA membership form? PTA advocates for ALL children, but we need YOUR support! Go to our MEMBERSHIP FORM page to print it off and send in!

Target Charge Card. Register your Target charge card and 1% goes to Fearn School. Call 1-800-316-6142 or go to www.target.com and register for Harold G. Fearn Elementary. School ID Number: 117086. Family and friends can participate by registering too!! We earned $1,163 last year. Our goal this year is $1,500. Please help us meet it!

Spirit Wear Available. Be the proud owner of a Fearn School T-shirt or sweatshirt or other fun item. Fearn Falcon Wristbands are selling for $3 each while supplies last. Please address an envelope to: Kristy Phillips, c/o Wristbands, Fearn PTA’s Spirit Wear Committee. Check or exact cash, please. Wristbands will be sent back through school to the student’s classroom, so please put that information in the envelope or on it.

Dining Out. Take a break from cooking twice a month and support Fearn PTA! We meet at Culver’s on Lake St. on the first Thursday of the month. We meet at the McDonald’s by Woodman’s on the 2nd Thursday of the month. Order take out or meet friends there, but please be sure to mention Fearn when ordering. Family and friends can participate, too! Keep an eye on the Parent Newsletter or check our Fearn website for updates!

Box Tops for Education. Yes, those cereal box tops DO make a difference. Last year we raised over $800 with this program! Can we do better? Of course! Ask ALL your family members to save these for you! Periodically, the children’s names are entered into a drawing for a special prize. Did you know that you can print your own savings box for collecting labels? Go to http://www.boxtops4education.com/ActivityCenter/

Tyson A+ Program. The label you save is easily identified by looking for the simple 1, 2, 3 program steps. Each label is worth 24¢ cash! Please send in labels with your child, ideally in bundles of 5 or 10. They can be turned into the teacher or turned into the office. Thank you for supporting our fundraising efforts! Campbell’s Labels for Education. It's a fun, easy program where students, families, and members of the community join together for a common goal! Please send in UPCs (not the front label, this in no longer accepted) in bundles of 10’s. Bundles will make the sorting efforts much easier. Please ask family, friends and co-workers to support our PTA. Product list HERE!

Old Cell Phones and Used Ink Cartridges. What a simple way to help the environment and Fearn PTA! Send in your old cell phones, pda’s, and ink/laser cartridges to the school office and we’ll make sure these items get recycled! Cartridges For Kids® will help keep these items out of the landfills and will mail a check to Fearn’s PTA. Because of your support last year, we were able to raise $377!

Fun Fair. Mark your calendars today! Saturday, February 23, 2008 is the date of our annual Fun Fair! Donations for raffle and silent auction prizes are accepted throughout the year! Contact staceymiller7652@sbcglobal.net with your raffle donation or to volunteer to help.

Donations. Yes, we still gratefully accept old-fashioned donations! Planning your taxes? Why not donate to Fearn PTA? We will issue a receipt for your tax records.
