Welcome! My name is Polly Ludena, and I'm the current PTA President. I am a West Aurora graduate, a former teacher in the district and now a parent. In fact, I moved back to North Aurora so that my children could attend district 129. I strongly believe in West Aurora and what the district has to offer and believe that Fearn is no exception.
As a PTA we work to support the building in every way. Some of the things we do every year are:
- host the Back To School Bash
- sponsor the large fall fundraiser and additional fundraisers throughout the year
- put on a Fun Fair
- support Fine Arts Week
- supply Birthday Books for every student
- host family fun nights
- host Daddy Daughter Dance
- organize Mother Son Skate
- sponsor assemblies
These are just a few of the ways we fortify your child's elementary school experience. We also lend financial support to the building and staff to provide opportunities for your children that may otherwise not be available.
We are fortunate to have had a very active PTA, and the best way to keep it strong is through membership! We are always looking for new volunteers and welcome new faces at our monthly membership meetings (the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm). Can't attend? You can still contribute greatly by just becoming a member for only $5 per membership.
