Welcome to the music home page! I'm glad you stopped by. We are so busy in the music classroom and we are glad to share our experiences with you.

Our year will be busily spent singing, playing instruments, dancing, learning about music theory and studying the great musical composers.

So ask your children some of these music questions...

     What song did you sing? What country was the song from? Who sang it? Do you remember it?

     Did you play an instrument today? What was it made of? How did you play it? What is its name?

     Did you move in music? Was it a dance? Did you have to hold hands? Where was the dance from?

     What notes did you learn about? Did you learn any new Italian words like piano or forte?

     What about new composers? Why did they write like they did? Which instruments did they choose?
