Dear Freeman Families,

Greetings and welcome to the 2009-2010 school year.  I am excited about having your children as a part of Freeman Elementary School where our mission is “Working Together for Success for All Students.”

Freeman School recognizes our strengths and areas for improvement.  We use them both as a cause for celebration and to set goals related to our School Improvement Plan, which maintains our primary focus on the key components of Vision 129.  In addition, research shows that active parent involvement is the singular most critical factor in your student’s achievement.  Parents as partners with the school send a very clear message that learning matters.

Once again, it gives me great pleasure to serve as Principal of this outstanding school.  I look forward to building relationships with our new families attending Freeman and I appreciate the supportive school community that celebrates our long standing tradition of excellence. Freeman School remains a “beehive” of activities and specific initiatives committed to providing our students with many opportunities within a positive atmosphere to learn and succeed. As we continue to move from good to great, the Freeman staff is prepared to deliver the best education possible. You are welcome and invited to visit anytime. “Go Mustangs!”
