Show Us Your Public Library Card!
Dear Parents and Students,
On May 1, the Goodwin Library Media Center is beginning its annual “Show Us Your Public Library Card” promotion to encourage summer reading. This promotion will run from May 1 – May 30.
The theme this year is “If you’re wild about books, show us your public library card”. We would like to have each student bring in his/her public library card from either Messenger Public Library or the Aurora Public Library. The student’s name must be on the card and it must be current.
When students show us their library card, they will receive an animal print pop-a-point pencil. They will also be entered into a drawing to take place on May 30th. Three winners will be chosen. The prizes are a BIG lion, a BIG tiger, and a LARGE penguin. We hope all students will have a library card of their own and participate in summer reading at the library.
