Meet the Goodwin Library Media Center Staff
Mrs. Slaker
I have been a resident of North Aurora since 1972. I graduated with a BA in Education from Aurora College in 1974 and an MA from Aurora University in 1996. I also have a Library Media Specialist Endorsement. I am married with three children, all of whom attended Goodwin. In 1988, I became Goodwin’s LMC teacher. Bringing a student together with a favorite book, watching students grow as readers, has to be one of the best jobs ever.
Mrs. Thomas
I’ve lived in Aurora all my life. I graduated with a BA in Education from Elmhurst College in 1990. I am married with three children, two boys and a girl. I was a stay-at –home mom until I started working for the school district in November of 2003.
