  frequently asked questions

What happens if I damage a book?

No need to fear!  We have book "hospital" at Hall School.  If the damage can be easily fixed, we will do it at no charge.  If we have to send the book away to get it fixed, we will charge you the fixing price.  If the book is so damaged that we have to pull it from our collection, then we will charge you for the replacement price of the book.

What happens if I can't find a book that I checked out from the LMC?

If you have lost a library book, you will have to pay the replacement price for the book so that a new one can be reordered. If you find the book after you pay for it, give it to an LMC staff member and your money will be reimbursed.

How long can I keep a book?
