Lisa Polomsky
Dear Hall Families and Community,
Welcome to Frank Hall Elementary School and the 2009-2010 school year! It continues to be an honor and privilege to be at the service of an outstanding faculty and the astonishing parents and students that make up the community of Hall. We hope that you will feel welcome as you become involved with your child’s experiences at Hall Elementary School.
The 2009-2010 school year presents many new opportunities for the students, staff and families of Hall School. Our mission continues to be educating students to be self-directed learners, collaborative workers, complex thinkers, quality producers and community contributors.
Throughout the school year, your child’s teacher and I will be making a special effort to stay in touch with you. Students can have excellent teachers—and at Hall School we strive to make sure that happens—but the key to healthy, happy and successful children and students is the positive involvement of parents and families. We will keep you informed of your child’s progress and school activities, so please be on the look out for papers coming home every Thursday in our “Take Home Folders” from school; which will include: newsletters, invitations, updates, tips, and reminders etc.
I hope you will take part in your child’s education by inquiring about their time spent at school. Please ask your child about their friends and teachers. Get involved as they complete their homework or seek your help on special projects. Encourage your child to read at least 20 minutes every night, and quiz them on their Saxon math fact sheets. I am confident that your child will demonstrate greater motivation as you continue to show interest in their academic and social experiences. We will certainly work on our end to provide your child with the best education possible. Let’s work together to make this an excellent school year in every way!
Let me again welcome all new and returning students and families to Frank Hall Elementary and the 2009-2010 school year. My door is always open and I encourage you to call or stop by at any time and for any reason. I am committed to being here for your children and will do everything I can to ensure that your child receives the best education and experience while at Hall School.
Very truly yours,
Lisa Polomsky,
