(email is the best initial contact since I work at two schools)

Philosophy

In Graphic Arts, students will acquire skills to create works of visual Art. They learn to use media tools and technology through the use of the computer. Students will learn to convey ideas and emotions by accessing a variety of software. Graphic arts will explore student expression as well as commercial arts while strengthening the development of problem-solving and communication skills.

Mission statement

the middle school graphic arts program will build on the individual experience and expression, and provide a foundation of computer art skills for high school. The basic components of process and product are computer based while integrating commercial arts and careers.
