Hello, I'm Mrs. Bauer. I am originally from Oklahoma, but I have traveled all over the United States with my military family. My elementary school years were spent in Anchorage, Alaska and Scott AFB, Illinois near St. Louis.
I really enjoy being a life-long learner! I have two bachelor degrees - one in psychology and one in elementary education. My masters degree is in Special Education working with severely emotionally disturbed children. In Georgia I held certifications for teaching visually impaired students, and special education administration. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher for Early Childhood through Young Adult Library Media. During the summer of 2008, I was a Teacher/Ranger with the National Park Service at the Grand Canyon!
I like to camp, hike, ride bikes, do needlework, and of course READ!
