JEWEL Student Announcements
- Middle school students will only be allowed to enter the stadium with their parent and their ID. They will be required to sit with their parent for the entire night.
- Operation Snowflake applications and information can be found on-line under Jewel Middle School. You can register early. Thank you, Officer Ithal.
- Start bringing in coats that your family no longer wants or needs. We will be collecting coats from September 29th through October 17th. Put them in the box outside the main office. Thank you for your donation.
- Girls trying out for cheerleading must have their physical, user fee, and parent permission form turned into Mrs. Lundberg by October 9th.
- Attention Honors Choir: Rehearsal begins next Friday, October 10th. Rehearsal begins at 8:10 and goes until 8:50. See you there.
- The first Student Council meeting will be next Wednesday Oct. 15th in the Tech Quiet Zone during REACH. Mrs. Townes will be passing out permission slips for LIMO LUNCH starting today at lunch. You must have a signed permission slip to attend the LIMO LUNCH next Thursday Oct. 16th.
- Congratulations to the cross country team. The boys placed first at the City of Lights Tournament last night. Top runners for the boys were Austin Rosenwinkel-fouth place, Omar Gomez-sixth place, Justin Sass (Chini)-tenth place, Brandon Burke-eleventh place, and Zach Townsend-thirtieth place. Ten teams participated with 144 boys running the race. The whole team did a great job and all runners have improved since the beginning of the season.
- 7th & 8th grade basketball players return fees and forms to Mr. Goebel by Friday, October 10th.
Wrestling return fee and forms to Mr. Goebel by Monday, October 20th.
6th grade basketball players return fees and forms to Mr. Goebel by Friday, October 17th.
- Congratualions to the 8th grade football team on a 42-0 victory over the Herget Huskies at West High Stadium. The 8th grade team finished the season with a record of 7-1-1. They also were the 8th grade football City Champs with an undefeated city record.
