were held in February. Students are involved as actors, directors,
choreographers, pit orchestra, stage, makeup and prop crews. The lead characters
will be played by: Alex Kellett as Belle; Brian Chambers as the Beast; Jared
Campbell as Gaston; Zach Meyer as Cogsworth; Brian Condon as Lumiere; Jaurzzlyn
Gardner as Mrs. Potts; Ellery Klein as Chip; Justin Fuller as LeFou; Will Wilson
as the Prince; and Jackson Schultz as Belle’s father, Maurice.
Student directors are Mira Dahlheim, Chris Narigon, Jackie Kauke, Chaundre White
and Dana Rissman. Faculty directors include Donna Letzter, Ken Ruffalo, John
Proczko, Kerry Proczko, Meg Papadolias, John McLear, Valerie Christofferson,
Terrance Pogge and Tom Lorenz.
The production will include full costuming, with 22 ball gowns being hand made
by parents. The set includes 5 revolves and Maurice’s inventions will really
work. The transformation of the Beast promises special effects.
Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, and Friday May 6. Saturday
performances include a matinee performance at 11:00 and an evening performance
at 7:30. All evening performances have reserved seating. The matinee is general
