JUNIOR TAKES THIRD IN CONFERENCE CHESS TOURNEY
Matt Riddle, a junior at West Aurora High School, placed third overall
in the DuPage Valley Conference chess tournament on Jan. 28 at Wheaton
Warrenville South High School.
“Riddle has been with the program since his freshman year and is a
steady and essential force in our overall success as a team,” says
Robert Payne, West’s chess team advisor.
