ATHLETES SHINE AT WEST’S MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL CAMP

More than 80 athletes competed in skills tests at the conclusion of the West Aurora Middle School Football Camp on June 16.

The athletes were broken into three groups: eighth-graders, heavyweights (fifth- sixth- and seventh-graders) and lightweights (fifth- sixth- and seventh-graders). The following skills test winners are listed in that order.

Kick Off -- Rob Lauzen, Nick Reinecke and Nate Zinzer; Field Goal -- Byron Hicks, Matt Braden and Brendon Chavez; Pass -- Nick Wood, Matt Braden and Nate Zinzer; Onside Kick -- Roberto Cerda, Terrence Pierce and Estephan Perez.

Punt -- Terris Dardon, Terrence Pierce and Brendon Chavez; Obstacle Course, Marcus Waller, Matt Braden and Nick Ondrla; Eighth-Grade Razzel-Dazzel Team Champs -- Justin Knight, Michael Reuland, Judah Dawkins, Terris Dardon, Billy Peters, Nick Wood, Rob Lauzen and Martin Connelly.

Fifth-, Sixth- and Seventh-Grade Razzel-Dazzel Team Champs -- Carl Fowler, Terry Miller, Terrance Pierce, Darryl Stewart, Quentin Pacjarek, Shawn Duffy and Danny Berendt.
