WEST HIGH CHEERLEADERS TO HOLD WORKSHOPS FOR YOUNGER STUDENTS
The West Aurora High School cheerleading program is hosting a mini-camp for all interested students in third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades.
Participants will learn cheers, jumps, a dance and stunts. The two-day camp will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. on both Jan. 23 and Jan. 25 in the blue field house at West Aurora High School, 1201 W. New York St., Aurora. Participants will then have an opportunity to perform at halftime of the sophomore game on Jan. 26.
Registration will be at the Jan. 23 workshop. The fee is $20. Participants will receive a t-shirt, hair ribbon and Blackhawk cheerleading bag tag. For more information, contact West High Cheerleading Coach Chrissy Poppen at 896-5156 or 301-5602.
