The Dist. 129 Superintendent’s Community Advisory Council (SCAC) is sponsoring a Board of Education Candidates’ Forum at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 3 in Crimi Auditorium at Aurora University’s Institute for Collaboration, 407 S. Calumet Ave.
Four of the seven Board of Education seats are being contested in the April 17 election. All eight candidates will attend. The public will be allowed to question the candidates.
The SCAC is comprised of parents from each district school. It meets regularly to provide advice and oversight to Supt. Jim Rydland.
