Dist. 129 Supt. Jim Rydland is recommending that the Board of Education on June 4 appoint Lisa Polomsky as the next principal of Hall Elementary School.

Polomsky would replace John Petzke, who will take a position in another district at the end of this school year. Polomsky has been assistant principal at Hall since February 2006 and, prior to that, a special education teacher.

"The Board is aware of my proposed recommendation and supports Lisa’s selection," says Rydland.

Polomsky obtained her administrator certification in 2005 along with a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Illinois University. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Education from Eastern Illinois University.
