SCHOOL DIST. 129 COMMUNITY FORUMS START NEXT WEEK
On Tuesday, Oct. 24, School Dist. 129 Supt. Jim Rydland will host the first of four community forums designed to give everyone in the community an opportunity to offer feedback in the four areas of Vision 129 -- teaching and learning; safe, secure facilities; financial responsibility and community involvement.
These sessions will be:
- 7–8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 24, Washington Middle School, 231 Constitution Drive, Aurora;
- 7–8:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct, 26, Herget Middle School, 1550 Deerpath Road, Aurora;
- 7–8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14, Jewel Middle School, 1501 Waterford Drive, North Aurora; and
- 7–8:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 16, Jefferson Middle School, 1151 Plum St., Aurora.
The Dist. 129 School Board will consider community feedback from all community sessions when it decides in December whether to place referendum questions on the April 2007 ballot.
