West Aurora Choruses will present a fall concert, “Music a la mode,” 7 p.m., Oct. 29 in the auditorium. A donation of $2 is appreciated at the door.

Varsity Singers, Dorian Choir, Lyric Chorus, Bel Canto Singers, Madrigals, A Cappella Choir, STUDyhall and Mixed Ensemble will perform an evening of music of many different styles, ranging from Gregorian chant to Flamenco. 

Narrators will explore the structure of musical modes and their effect on how music sounds. Lindsey Ward will play a Vivaldi violin concerto and Emily Fagan will share the four-handed piano accompaniment on the finale, "Ritmo!" 

The choirs are directed by Meg Papadolias and Jonathan McLear.
