Fans all over the world can watch a live video stream of the West Aurora High School varsity wrestling team’s home matches this year, beginning at 7 p.m., Dec. 1 against Glenbard North.
A link to the webcasts will be on the district’s homepage, www.sd129.org. There will be no broadcast announcers, but viewers will hear the ambient sound of the matches.
Additional matches scheduled for video webcasts are Dec. 2 against Wheaton-Warrenville South; Dec. 8, Naperville North; Jan. 12, Marist; and Jan. 13, West Chicago. All streams will start at 7 p.m.
To listen to the webcast on a computer one must have:
* An active connection to the Internet. For best performance, the connection speed should be 56bps minimum; DSL or higher is recommended for best performance, particularly for video;
*A Flash or Windows Media player; and
*A functioning sound card and speakers.
