Freeman Elementary School will hold a 5K/1 mile Fun Racer to promote health and wellness in the school and community.
The Fun Racer will start at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, at Freeman School, 153 S. Randall Road, Aurora. The course will continue south to Kensington Place, through the San Souci and Carriage Hill subdivisions and then loop back onto Kensington Place east to Glenwood Place north.
The race day schedule will start with registration from 7-7:45 a.m., the race at 8 a.m. and the post-race party and awards at 9 a.m.
Entry fees for the 5K run are $20 before April 23 and $25 from April 24 to race day. The entry fee for the mile walk is $10. Family mile walk entry fees are $30 before April 23, and $35 from April 24 to race day. The entry fee includes a T-shirt for all pre-registered participants. Race day registrants will receive a T-shirt while supplies last.
