The Superintendent's Community Advisory Council (SCAC) representatives for the 2012-13 School year are as follows:
The SCAC is made up of parents from each of the district’s schools and is meant to facilitate public participation in the West Aurora school system. The SCAC meets regularly with Supt. Jim Rydland to discuss the District’s comprehensive plan known as Vision 129 and all components associated with that plan.
The SCAC meetings provide a forum for discussion and decision-making between public and District staff. As a result, parents should feel comfortable communicating with SCAC members representing their children’s schools.
