Registration

The first day of school is August 15, 2012

Returning students to District 129:

Parents/guardians of students returning to District 129 should have received their student’s enrollment materials and should return those to their student’s school before April 27th. Any questions about the enrollment materials can be directed to the main office of your student’s school.

If your address has changed, please update the verification form and return that to your student’s school with a copy of two (2) proofs of residency dated within the past 60 days. Examples of these documents are:

  • Current utility bills (gas, electric, landline telephone, and cable)
  • Home sale/closing documents
  • Current property tax statement
  • Home insurance statement
  • Home mortgage statement

Upon verification of your residency, your enrollment process will be complete.

New students to District 129:

Parents/guardians of new students to District 129 should contact the Central Registration Office after May 15, 2012, to schedule a registration appointment. The Central Registration office is located at 1244 Plum Street, Aurora and a message can be left at 630-301-5050. Your phone call will be returned after May 15th.

At this appointment you will be asked to complete enrollment paperwork for each of your students that will attend a District 129 school. Please be prepared to submit two (2) current proofs of residency at your appointment. Examples of these documents are:

  • Current utility bills (gas, electric, landline telephone, cable)
  • Home sale/closing documents
  • Current property tax statement
  • Home insurance statement
  • Home mortgage statement

Parents/guardians of new students to District 129 will also need to supply the following documents at the time they enroll:

  • Illinois State Transfer Form, if transferring from within the Illinois Public School System
  • School name and phone number if transferring from outside the state of Illinois
  • Original birth certificate
  • Valid drivers license or State I.D. of the parent/guardian

Other documents that are helpful at your enrollment appointment are:

  • Your student’s last report card or unofficial transcript
  • Immunization records
  • Guardianship papers, if applicable
