Centralized Registration Requirements
All new students to District 129 and those who have not pre-registered before the above dates must contact the Central Registration Office for an appointment.

IMPORTANT – Registration Requirements
Please bring your kindergartner for registration in order to complete the screening process.
1st Step: Residency Verified - Two proofs of residency are required at registration. Proofs of residency include: Current Utility Bill, Home/Sale Closing Document, Current Property Tax Bill, Home Insurance Bill and Mortgage Statement. No wireless bills will be accepted and all proofs of residency must be dated within the last 60 days or the current billing cycle.
2nd Step: Birth Certificate (county issued). In order to enroll in kindergarten for the 12/13 school year, student must have turned 5 on or before September 1, 2012. The certificate must be legal county-issued certificate not the one given by the hospital.
3rd Step: Home Language Survey (state requirement) - Each school will have you complete the survey and a language dominance test will be completed if a language other than English is spoken in the home.

**The school district will mail verification packets to parents of currently enrolled students in the spring.

If you do not want directory information released, you must tell the principal in writing what types of directory information you do not want released. That written notice to the principal must be received no later than 30 days of receiving this annual notice. |
