The Superintendent’s Community Advisory Council was established to involve parents and other community members to facilitate a public understanding of the District’s comprehensive plan known as Vision 129 and all components associated with that plan.
GOALS:
• Allow public participation in District 129 school system.
• Provide forum for discussion and decision-making between public and District staff.
• Establish effective two-way communication between District office and school system.
• Allow citizens the opportunity to express their needs and expectations to the District leadership.
• Create positive human relations contacts among community, students and parents.
• Establish and maintain a District image that reflects District 129's “Tradition of Excellence”.
