Paramount’s “Dreams Do Come True” Benefits West Aurora Students This Holiday Season

The Paramount Arts Theatre in Aurora graciously donated over 400 tickets to students in West Aurora School District’s My Time Program. The theatre’s program, Dreams Do Come True, which started in 2004, allows free tickets to Paramount performances for children who otherwise would not be able to afford them.

My Time is a 21st Century Grant funded program offered to 1st - 8th grade students at nine West Aurora Schools. The program provides opportunities for community and family involvement, priority for students who are in greatest need of academic assistance, and offers students various resources and opportunities through our community partnerships.

My Time families from Freeman, Greenman, Hill, Herget, and McCleery were able to attend a FREE production of “A Christmas Story” at the Paramount the week before Christmas. The school district was also able to provide a bus for all families in need of transportation. What a wonderful opportunity for My Time families this holiday season!
