Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year! 

The Early Childhood staff in West Aurora School District is dedicated to working with parents, families, and community members in educating our youngest students.  This passion is fueled by the belief that each of us plays a vital role in building a foundation for future success in every child’s life.  This is where the journey begins!

The Early Childhood team will continue our tradition of excellence in teaching and strive to make our program a model of excellence that others desire to replicate.  In this endeavor, our entire staff focuses on the whole child.  Each day our instruction addresses the social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language growth of every student.  Our teachers establish high expectations and clear goals for sustained success during the school year and into the future. 

Of course, parents are a child’s first teacher.  We need the support and guidance of parents, families, and community members to make our program as successful as it can be for each child.  With this, I look forward to meeting every one of you over the course of this year as you become involved in your child’s education.
