Summer 2009

In June this past summer, I was fortunate to travel to Ecuador. I studied there for 17 days. I stood on the Equator and yes there is an actual line painted for photo opportunities. In addition, I lived on a boat at sea travelling between the Galapagos Islands.  It was an experience of a lifetime!

Guatemala Orphans

At the end of the 2008-2009 school year, my students collected over $600.00 for the Guatemalan orphans. The money was used to take over 100 orphans kids to the circus and to eat lunch at MacDonald's. For most of these children it was the first time they had ever been to the circus or eaten fast food. The generosity of my students never ceases to amaze me...thank-you once again.
