Prerequisite: None

The State of Illinois requires all students to complete a course of study in Health Education. This course is normally taken during the freshman year. This course promotes healthy lifestyles based on knowledge gained from the latest research. This establishes the concept that personal health, is mostly within the control of the individual. A healthy lifestyle is a matter of wise personal choice.

Open to: 9, 10, 11, 12 Length: 1 semester Credit: .5
Prerequisite: Reading Skills

The State of Illinois requires all students to complete a course of study in Health Education. This course is normally taken during the sophomore year. This course is designed to be presented objectively to allow the student to make wise decisions concerning health-related problems. This includes aspects of physical, mental and social health.
