STRUCTURE OF THE SEMESTER FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION
The semester is broken down into 6 different units which are about 13-14 days long.
Each unit will cover a specific sport or activity, and students will be graded on each
unit. The 6 unit grades combined with the Written Final Semester Exam will make up
the students' semester grade.
Every student will go through a battery of fitness tests at the beginning and end of the school year. The tests are very important in showing each student what fitness level they
are at, and what they might have to do to gain or maintain a healthy level. Testing will be
completed during some of the activity units.
