GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
A student must earn a minimum of 22 credits to graduate from West High School.
Students must take the Prairie State Achievement Exam to receive an Illinois high school diploma (unless exempt).

Class of 2010 & 2011
A minimum of 22 credits, including the following courses:
- English 3 credits (1 Grammar/Writing; 1 Sophomore Lit.; 1 American Lit/Writing)
- Math 3 credits (1Algebra, 1 Math course with Geometrical Concepts, 1 Math Elective)
- Science 2 credits
- Social Studies 2 credits (½ Government, ½ Economics, and 1 US History)
- Health ½ credit
- P.E./Driver Ed 3 ½ credits
- Electives 8 credits
