‘The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940’ at West High Nov. 20-21
West Aurora High School will present its fall play, ‘The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940,’ at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 20 and 21, in the auditorium, 1201 W. New York St., Aurora.
Tickets are $8, all seats reserved, and are available by calling the high school at 630-301-5600.
The comedy centers around a gathering of producers, directors, lyricists, and composers at the home of Elsa Von Grossenknueten, a patron of the arts. But there’s a catch: the last time this creative team was gathered, a string of murders took place! Have they been gathered to put on a musical or to uncover the killer?
With a German who is pretending to be an Italian pretending to be Irish, a woman who is actually a man, and a maze of tunnels, John Bishop’s ‘The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940’ will keep you guessing until the very end. Come help solve the mystery of the Stage Door Slasher!
Ken Ruffalo is directing, Jen Pauley is associate director, Kerry Proczko is business director, and Tom Lorenz is technical director.
