Alumni Corner

  • Since 1868, West Aurora High School has educated young men and women from the west side of Aurora as well as from North Aurora, Montgomery and Sugar Grove and Batavia. Thousands of graduates have looked back with pride upon their alma mater as the place where they prepared themselves for adult life and created lasting memories with their classmates.

First formed in the 1880s, the West Aurora Alumni Association has served to support class reunions and, more recently, to recognize distinguished alumni. The alumni association merged in 2008 with the Foundation for West Aurora Schools to form the A+ Foundation for West Aurora Schools.

Our foundation continues to seek distinguished alumni to add to our Hall of Honor. If you would like to nominate someone, please fill out our online nomination form or contact us at

The A+ Foundation for West Aurora Schools serves as your way to connect with and give back to District 129 school community. In order to do that, we serve as the District’s alumni association, and we also fund “wish” programs for the District’s schools.

The A+ Foundation for West Aurora Schools provides many services for our alumni. These range from events such as our Distinguished Alumni Hall of Honor to our support and assistance with class reunions. We also facilitate your ability to “stay connected” with friends, past and present through our A+ Foundation Facebook page. Please “like” us and continue to build our Alumni connection base.
