And…We’re back! Welcome to another wonderful school year at Hope D. Wall School. I am honored to have the privilege to serve as the building principal for the 2016-2017 school year. Our building has undergone numerous physical changes, including the construction of a large canopy over the bus loading zone. This has been a helpful addition to our building, as it keeps our students and staff dry during inclement weather. Additionally, we have new tile in our classrooms and hallways, which brightens up our entire school. We are still in the process of wrapping up these projects.
We welcomed many new faces to our Hope Wall Staff this school year, as well. We added a transition level classroom to accommodate our growing 18-21 age group. Also, Hope Wall School has added a teacher to address the specific English Language Learner (ELL) needs of our students. We have added many new paraprofessionals to our ranks, as well.
Most importantly, we are all excited to see our halls come alive with the buzz of students engaged in learning. What we do here would not be possible without the amazing students who grace our classrooms every single day. As I’ve visited classrooms, I’ve seen students engaged in a variety of learning activities. There is nothing quite like the unique and focused learning that happens in our classrooms at Hope Wall!
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to educate your children and young adults! We firmly believe that every child can learn, that every family we encounter is valuable, and that our talented staff, dedicated families, and hard-working students can accomplish anything!
