Dr. Terry Collette
Welcome to another wonderful school year at Hope D. Wall School. I am honored once again to have the privilege to serve as the building principal for the 2018-2019 school year. Over the course of the summer, we updated a large portion of our heating and air conditioning system, bringing consistency to our building temperatures year round. I’m also pleased to share that we upgraded the interactive touch screen hardware in each classroom to being our student learning into the 21st Century!
We added a few new faces to Hope Wall this school year. Stephanie Anderson is joining us as a music teacher, and she brings creativity and energy to her approach to music instruction. We also welcomed Lucia Hoffman to an Early Childhood Special Education teaching position. Lucia also brings creativity and energy to the program, along with her knowledge of teaching techniques for our youngest learners.
Most importantly, we are overjoyed at all of the returning students and new friends who started back with us August 16. We are uniquely blessed to have such a diverse student population, and we are reminded daily of just why we do what we do. Just as short time into the school year, and our programs are already off to an amazing start with students deeply engaged in meaningful learning activities throughout the building. I know I say this often, but there is nothing quite like the unique and focused learning that happens in our classrooms at Hope Wall!
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to educate your children and young adults! We firmly believe that every child can learn, that every family we encounter is valuable, and that our talented staff, dedicated families, and hard-working students can accomplish anything! We are here to make a difference in the lives of our students, each and every day.
