  • Please call the Safe Phone 630-301-5375  phone  to report your child's absence. Please mention if they are sick with a temperature of 100 or greater and if they have symptoms of a cough or sore throat. If they have a temperature of 100 or greater they need to stay home until they are fever free for 24 hours without the help of fever-reducing medication.

    Please keep in mind that children must go outside during recess unless they have a note from the their doctor stating otherwise.

    Parents of Kindergarteners and second graders: Proof of a dental exam that was completed in January 2015 or after is needed in the health office before May 15, 2016. You can turn this in now!

    Immunization requirements for the 2016/2017 School Year:

    Students entering 6th grade are required by Illinois State Law to provide an updated physical and dental exam along with all required immunizations. The physical exam must be on or after August 1, 2015. Required immunizations include: two (2) Varicella vaccinations, one (1) Tdap vaccination, three (3) Hepatitis B vaccinations, and one (1) Meningococcal Conjugate vaccination. These vaccinations must be spaced correctly and given at the correct age. Appointments can be made with your medical provider now and documents can be turned in to the McCleery Health Office before the end of the school year.

    In order to increase communication with parents regarding health office visits starting February 29th, 2016, students who visit the health office will be sent back to class with a quarter sheet of yellow paper which will contain a brief summary of their visit.
