Quarter 4 Food Distribution Update
Beginning Monday, April 12th, SD129 will be consolidating the number of food distribution sites to two locations. Reducing the number of sites allows for our food service staff to supervise lunch inside the buildings now that there will be an increase in student attendance each day.
The following food distribution sites will remain open Monday-Friday from 11 AM - 2 PM:
McCleery Elementary School
West Aurora High School
In addition to receiving free lunch, students attending school in-person will also have daily access to meal packets which include breakfast and supper to take home.
If you are not attending in person and cannot visit one of those sites, please contact Dina Voice at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
All students in SD129 qualify for a Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) card that can be used to purchase food at any participating store. Some of our families have started receiving their cards. Please be on the lookout for a plain white envelope sent from an address in Austin, Texas. If you have not received your child’s card by the end of March, please call the toll-free P-EBT helpline number at 1-833-621-0737.
West Aurora School District 129 is not responsible for sending the cards.
